302nd Community Defense Center receives HADR gear from Army Chief

The 302nd Community Defense Center (302CDC), 3rd Regional Community Defense Group of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army (Rescom) received Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) equipment from Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido during a turnover ceremony at the Tarlac Agricultural University in Malacampa, Camiling, Tarlac on February 19, 2024.
 
In this remarks before ROTC cadets and reservists, Lt. Gen. Galido highlighted the crucial role of reservists in social development activities and HADR efforts during times of calamities. “I am confident that the 302nd Community Defense Center through this HADR equipment will work harder in the accomplishment of our mission,” the Army Chief remarked.
 
Lt. Gen. Galido also encouraged Filipinos to serve as reservists to bolster the country’s reserve force which is an integral part of the national defense strategy. “I am confident that the Philippine Army will emerge victorious against the enemies and that we will be able to contribute to the attainment of just and lasting peace,” the Army Chief concluded.
