Army, Landers Distribute Food Packs to Health Workers, Frontline Troops

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila – The Philippine Army in partnership with Landers Superstore distributed food packs to eight (8) hospitals and one (1) Army checkpoint group last March 15, 2020.

The food packs from Landers received from their pick up stores located in Otis, Balintawak, and Alabang were distributed to the health workers from Manila Doctors Hospital, Philippine General Hospital, Quezon City General Hospital, Veterans Memorial Medical Center, Asian Hospital, Ospital ng Muntinlupa, Mother Regina Family Hospital, Army General Hospital and to the Army troops deployed for checkpoint operations at Barangay Talipapa, Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City.

Amid the fight against COVID-19, the health workers from different hospitals and troops from checkpoints are placed in the frontlines to prevent the spread of the virus. The Army, along with Landers, works to provide for their needs to keep them in top shape to serve the Filipino people in combatting the unseen enemy in our country.
