    RULES AND GUIDE AFP PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

    1. CONTEST CATEGORIES

    a. The AFPbayani@82 Photo Contest has four categories; and for the first time, the contest will have one category solely for cellphone photography.

    b. Category
           
            1. LIBERATING MARAWI (Open for military and civilians) 1) This category captures the punitive actions or its impact that showcase or convey the soldier’s heroism, valour, courage, thoughts, emotions, hardships and sacrifices during the five months fight to liberate Marawi.

           2) In addition, photographs in this category include those that encapsulates the AFP’s collaboration with other agencies that would showcase or convey the values of Community, Bayanihan, Kapayapaan, and Malasakit sa Kapwa. It includes the impact of these cooperation like the outpouring of support from all stakeholders, and the effort to improve the plight of displaced residents.

           3) Under this category, participants may submit photographs that convey a) lessons learned, b) eye openers, c) new type of warfare d) soldiers in action, e) soldiers at the frontlines, f) soldiers at the rear, and g) untold stories on the AFP operations to liberate Marawi City.
