The 88th Infantry Battalion of the 4th Infantry "Diamond" Division concluded its three-month Battalion of Excellence (BOE) Training in a Closing Ceremony at the 4th Division Training School, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on April 11, 2024.
Chief of Staff, Philippine Army Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba graced the ceremony and emphasized the role of the retrained battalion in the 4ID's campaign in dismantling the remaining units of CTG in their areas of responsibility (AOR) and ending the local communist armed conflict. He also commended the unit and the trainees for their commitment to furthering their capabilities in maintaining peace and development in their AOR.
The BOE Training started on January 28 and served as the centerpiece of the Army's capability development designed to improve the operational performance and combat capability of the unit across different areas.
