LTC DOMINADOR B VALERIO (INF) PA was born in Barangay Villa Concepcion, Cauayan City, Isabela, on 19 May 1973. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education at the Isabela Colleges Foundation, Cauayan City, Isabela, in 1994. He started his career as a member of the AFP when he joined the Candidate Soldier Course Class 26 - 1994 and Called to Active Duty as 2nd Lieutenant and proud member of Officer Preparatory Course “MILENYO” Class 41 - 2000.

                                    He finished various military schoolings such as Philippine Army Orientation Course and Course and Jungle Warfare Mountaineering Operation Course both in the 5th Infantry Division, in Camp Upi, Gamu, Isabela in 1995. After rendering five years as Enlisted Man, he called to active duty on 01 June 2000 and became a member of Officer Preparatory Course (OPC) Class 2000 and undergone training at Candidate Officer and Soldier School, TRADOC, PA, cross-trained with a Scout Ranger Orientation Course, and First Scout Ranger Regiment, PA in 2000. He also took up Armor Officer Basic Course (AOBC), Combat Arms school, TRADOC, PA in 2001; Armor Officer Advance Course in 2007; Peace Keeping Operations Training and UN Core Pre-Deployment Training for 6PCGH at PKOC, AFP; Basic Security in the Field II, UN Disengagement Observer Force in 2012; Nuclear and Biological & Chemical Familiarization Training in 2013; Curriculum Development Course and Instructor Development Training in 2014; and Instructor Development Training Trainers Course in 2015. He also attended various military and civilian training and seminars that honed his potentials.

                                    During his military service as an enlisted man and officer for twenty-five (25) years, he assumes various positions and responsibilities such as; Squad leader, Administrative NCO, and liaison NCO of Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division (5ID) from 1994 – 2000. He also serves as a platoon leader of Charlie Company and Company Commander of Bravo Company, Civil-military Operations Officer, Disbursing and Special Disbursing Officer, 50th Infantry Battalion, 5ID, PA stationed in Ilocos Region from 2001 - 2007. He also served as a Company Commander of Headquarters and Headquarters Mechanized Company and 23rd Mechanized Company of 2nd Mechanized Battalion, Light Armor Division, PA in Maguindanao from 2008 to 2010. After serving the Light Armor Division, he returned to Headquarters 5th Infantry Division and designated as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, G7 in Camp Upi, Gamu, Isabela from 2010 - 2012. While performing his duty as Deputy G7, he was selected as one of the officers to compose the 6th Philippine Contingent to Golan Heights. He was designated as Company Commander of 2nd and 1st Company of Philippine Battalion, 6th Philippine Contingent to Golan Heights, UNDOF from 2012 - 2013. After he served as a peacekeeper, he served as Chief of Leadership, Command, and Management section, Assistant Course Director, and Logistics Officer of Staff Officer School (SOS) 2014 – 2016. He was designated as Chief Leadership Curriculum Development Division and Executive Officer of ALDEC from 2016 – 2020, both in Training and Doctrine Command, PA, after the deactivation of SOS and subsequent activation of Army Leadership Development and Education Center (ALDEC). He was also designated as Executive Officer of 503rd Infantry Brigade, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army from 01 June 2021 to 30 June 2022.

                                    LTC VALERIO earned himself various awards, decorations, commendations, and badges from both military and civilian personalities with his outstanding military services in both Combat and Administrative functions. Among them is Bronze Cross Medal; thirteen (14) Military Merit Medals with one spearhead devise; twenty (20) Military Commendation Medals; Wounded Action Medal; three (3) Military Civic Action Medals; United Nation Service Medal and Ribbon; United Nations Medal; three (3) Luzon Anti-Dissidents Campaign Medal & Ribbon and Mindanao Anti-Dissidents Campaign Medal & Ribbon; (2) Long Service Medal & Ribbon; Parangal sa Kapanalig ng SLP Medal and Ribbon; several Letters of Commendation; fourteen (7) Certificate of Recognition; seven (7) Certificate of Appreciation from the military and civilian sector; Plaque of Appreciation. He is also a recipient of several Badges. Two (2) Combat Kagitingan Badges; People Power II Ribbon badges; the Philippine Republic Presidential Unit Citation Badge and Election Duty Badge; Marksmanship Badge (Pistol Expert); and Personnel Readiness Badge (Silver Category).

                                    On 01 December 2017, he was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel (LTC), and he belong to the prestigious class of AFP Command and General Staff Course Class 68 - 2021. Likewise, he finished his Masters in Public Administration Major in Development and Security at Development Academy of the Philippines. At present, he is the Acting Commanding Officer of 5th Civil Military Operations Battalion, 5th Infantry Division, Philippine Army from 30 June 2022 to date.

                                   

                                    He has been married to the former Ms. Maria Lourdes Managuelod Narcise since 1997 and blessed with three children, namely Mark Adrian, Maria Andrea, and Micah Althea.
