He was born on 12 July 1977 at Katipunan, Panabo, Davao City and live in Purok 2, Little Panay, Panabo, Davao City. He is married to LTC VANISSA BACAN ALMORATO (QMS) PA, CO of SSBN, 10ID and blessed with 2 daughters and 1 son.
He is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at University of Mindanao, Davao City (29 march 1999), He took Professional Industrial Security Management Program and Certified Security Professional at Philippine Society For Industrial Security Inc. (31 Oct 2014) and he finished his Master’s degree in Public Management Major in Development & Security at development Academy of the Philippines (09 June 2022).
He started his military career (19 Nov 1999) when he took the Probationary Officers Training Course at ARESCOM TRAINING CENTER and Commissioned to the Armed Forces of the Philippines as 2LT (13 November 2000). He also took various Military Schooling: Infantry Officer Basic Course, Philippine Australia Short Term Training, Psychological Opns Course; Strategic CMO Officers Online Course; Mil Intel Officer Basic Course; Infantry Officer Advance Course; Strategic Intel Course; Social Media Intelligence; Case Operation Course; Command & General Staff Course and Battalion Commander Pre-Command and many more.
During he entered the military profession, he anchored various designations and assignments in different units and Divisions: Commanding Officer, 81st Reco Coy, 8ID, PA; Commanding Officer, CCoy, 19IB, 8ID, PA; CMO Officer, 19IB, 8ID, PA; Operations Officer, 19IB, 8ID, PA; Chief, TOC OG3, 8ID, PA; Intel and Acting CMO Officer JTFGENSAN, 10ID, PA; Operations Officer, 1002 BDE, 10ID, PA; Group Commander, MIG3, ISAFP; Executive Officer, 602 BDE, 6ID, PA and Spokesperson JTFC and 6ID, PA. He also received several awards and commendations in both military and in civilian sector.
