FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Army Headquarters held an anniversary ball here Friday, March 22, 2019 to commemorate and celebrate the transformation it has achieved in the past years and offer tribute to the soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.
The Secretary of National Defense, Delfin N. Lorenzana, was the Guest of Honor and Speaker for the activity which was attended by the officers and men of Headquarters, Philippine Army led by the Army Commanding General, Lt. Gen. Macairog S. Alberto.
In his speech, Secretary Lorenzana urged the men and women of the Army to press on and strive for greater goals. "Let us all be reminded that serving the people goes beyond our retirement day. We dedicate this celebration to the heroism of countless soldiers who have gone before us", he added.
