CGPA sends pizza, provides medical check up to Army frontliners

FORT BONIFACIO, Metro Manila - The Philippine Army Commanding General sent pizza and medical team to Army frontliners deployed in quarantine assistance stations in Metro Manila today, March 24, 2020.

Lt. Gen. Gilbert I. Gapay, Commanding General, Philippine Army (CGPA), sent the pizza to the troops deployed in quarantine assistance stations located at NLEX Smart Connect Exit, Parada, Valenzuela City; McArthur Highway, Malanday, Valenzuela City; NLEX Camachile Exit, Caloocan City and Alat Bridge, Bagong Silang, Quirino Highway, Caloocan City through the Assistant Chief of Staff for Personnel, G1, Col. Potenciano C. Camba.

Along with the food, Gapay also sent a medical team for a regular health check-up for our frontliner soldiers.

“Our Commanding General knows your sacrifices and hardships in serving our people through these challenging times,” Col Camba said.

“Part for CGPA’s Army Anniversary treat to our soldier frontliners, he directed me to deliver this pizza to you. I hope your stomachs will be filled and be reminded that we got your backs as you continue performing your mission,” added Camba.

“Stay healthy always and remember that your health is crucial in the fight against the unseen enemy which is the COVID-19 virus,” Camba further added.
