The Army Artillery Regiment (AAR) welcomed the visit of United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) 1st Multi Domain Task Force (1MDTF) Commander Brig. Gen. Bernard J. Harrington on April 13, 2023 at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija.
During the visit, AAR Commander Brig. Gen. Francis Anthony M. Coronel and 1MDTF Commander Brig. Gen. Harrington discussed the successful conduct of Rocket (HIMARS) System Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) Series 1. Brig. Gen. Harrington commended the efforts of AAR in the smooth implementation of the first part during Exercise Salaknib 2023.
The two commanders also discussed the necessary preparations for the Series 2 of HIMARS SMEE which will be conducted from May to July 2023. Likewise, Brig. Gen. Harrington expressed his gratitude for the troops’ warm welcome and his hopes for continuous collaboration with the regiment.
