The Army Commanding General (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido visited the Visayas Army Training Group (VATG) and reiterated the command's unwavering commitment on discipline and readiness in their Headquarters at Camp Chato, Tubigon, Bohol on March 1, 2024.
The VATG troops welcomed the Army chief and discussed the current training programs and action plans of their group in cultivating physically fit and mentally sharp Army troops in the Visayas region.
The Army chief also encouraged the unit to prioritize the morale and welfare of troops in exchange for their hardwork and selfless service. Moreover, Lt. Gen. Galido emphasized that standard training and their discipline will contribute in achieving a strong Army force in support to the transition of the military to territorial defense operations.
