Army Commanders exemplify sportsmanship in the Exercise Katihan Fellowship Shoot

The Philippine Army marked its 127th Philippine Army Day with a spirited Exercise Katihan Fellowship Shoot at the Philippine Army Marksmanship Training Facility, Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, on March 20, 2024.
 
Led by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido, the fellowship shoot witnessed outstanding pistol and rifle marksmanship from the Army Major Unit Commanders, General, Personal, Special, Technical (GPST) Staff, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Central Directors and School Commandants, and Sergeant Majors. Eighteen teams joined the series of five competitive stages to determine the victors of the marksmanship. Team No. 3, captained by Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) Commander Brig. Gen. Ferdinand B. Napuli, emerged triumphant in Overall Championship category of this engaging shoot fest.
 
Lt. Gen. Galido commended the winners for their exemplary teamwork and lauded all commanders for their responsible firearm handling throughout the anniversary event, “In a rapidly changing environment, we must enhance our skills and be flexible so that our actions are purposeful and impactful, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our organization and the government."
