Philippine Army holds Signal and G6 Family Conference 2023

FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City – The Philippine Army through the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Command and Control Communications, and Cyber Systems (C4S), G6, kicked off the four-day Signal Consultation, Visitation, and G6 Family Conference with the theme “The Army Signal Corps: United in Pursuing a Strong and Reliable Philippine Army Network” in an opening ceremony at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on October 24, 2023.
 
The Family Conference aims to provide updates on the current state of PA’s Command and Control Communications, and Cyber Systems (C4S) projects and programs. The activity will also be conducted through a series of workshops, lectures, capability demonstrations, and facility tour. Different resource speakers from private cybersecurity companies are also invited. The Deputy Chief of Staff for C4ISTAR System, J6, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Maj. Gen. Eric E. Nicanor served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker during the ceremony.
 
The Army Chief Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido commended the C4S, G6 for facilitating the conduct of the Family Conference which allows the Army to explore better communication means and further capacitate the country’s ground force to accomplish mission success.
