Army Reserve Command inaugurates 4 TIKAS projects

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RCPA) inaugurated four Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) projects graced by the Army Vice Commander Maj. Gen. Steve D. Crespillo at the Headquarters Reserve Command, Camp Riego de Dios, Tanza, Cavite on June 16, 2023.
 
The RCPA is a recipient of 12 TIKAS projects under the Department of National Defense (DND) - Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Convergence Program with fund support of the General Appropriation Act (GAA) 2021 and 2022. The four recently inaugurated TIKAS projects are the two-storey Reservist Barracks, Multipurpose Building, Bachelor Officer’s Quarters, and Library and Conference Center.
 
The inauguration ceremony was attended by different regional community defense groups and community defense centers via Video Teleconferencing (VTC) wherein Senator Francis N. Tolentino served as the guest of honor and speaker. The senator expressed his positive disposition towards the projects of the national government to further improve the infrastructure and support the development and growth of every reservist in the country.
 
Moreover, the Army Vice Chief commended the RCPA on their dynamic and proactive efforts in advancing the Reserve Command in terms of continuous training of personnel, acquiring new technologies, and building new facilities that would all contribute to the professionalization and capacity-building of reservists in the country.
