Army holds training on Gender-based violence referral system

The Philippine Army through the Gender and Development Office of the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG), kicked off the three-day Gender-Based Violence Referral System Training in an opening ceremony at Philippine Army Officer’s Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on July 26, 2023.

The three-day training aims to educate personnel of HHSG with knowledge of the functions of the gender-based referral network, how the referral system works, and gender-based violence issues. Moreover, it reinforces the Army’s commitment to gender equality and safeguarding the well-being of its soldiers. The event will be participated by personnel of HHSG through video-teleconferencing and onsite.

The AFP Chief of Staff and Army Commanding General Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. commended the Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) for its dedication to create a safer and more inclusive environment for all its personnel.
