CSPA recognizes the significant contributions of the reserve force in the CAD officers send-off ceremony

The Chief of Staff, Philippine Army (CSPA) Maj. Gen. Potenciano C. Camba highlighted the significance of reserve force development in his speech during the ceremonial send-off for Call to Active Duty (CAD) officers under Republic Act 2334 at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on February 7, 2024.

RA 2334 states that reserve officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines shall be rotated in the active military service. The CSPA lauded the 67 reserve officers who will undergo the two-year program that gives reserve officers an opportunity to serve in the regular force. The program hones their capabilities in leading and managing small unit operations as part of a bigger force. He also underscored the Army reserve force’s earnest efforts in humanitarian assistance and disaster response, particularly during typhoons, earthquakes, and other calamities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
