Army, TESDA seal deal for development of soldiers’ technical skills

The Philippine Army signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to improve the technical skills of all Army personnel at Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on February 12, 2024.
 
The partnership will align various respective training programs to further provide Army beneficiaries with a quality and efficient education and technical skills training through the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) program.
 
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido conveyed his deepest gratitude to TESDA Director General Suharto T. Mangudadatu, Ph.D., for their support and confidence in the Philippine Army, most especially in cultivating skills and honing the competency development of Army soldiers. Lt. Gen. Galido also reiterated that the command prioritizes the soldiers’ welfare and individual development, “Let’s enhance our commitment to improving the well-being not just of our soldiers and their families but also that of all Filipinos,” the Army chief said.
