Army Chief boosts morale of CAA members in remote Nueva Vizcaya patrol base

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M. Galido checked on the condition and boosted the morale of CAFGU Auxiliary Units (CAA) members assigned at the remote patrol base of Pelaway, Alfonso Castaneda, Nueva Vizcaya on February 19, 2024.
 
The Army Chief, during his Talk to Troops, emphasized his command guidance summarized in the acronym ARMY: “Always Pray for divine guidance”, “Reliable, Responsive, Relevant to the needs of the nation”, “Mission-oriented for troop morale”, and “Yield personal interests and comfort for unity for a stronger Army, stronger AFP, and stronger nation.”
 
Lt. Gen. Galido likewise lauded the 7th Infantry “Kaugnay” Division (7ID) and CAA members for their crucial role in the declaration of Nueva Vizcaya as insurgency-free as of January 2024. The Army Chief also vowed to sustain support for CAA members with special attention to those who were killed, wounded or sick in line of duty.
 
Towards the end of his visit, Lt. Gen. Galido, who was accompanied by 7ID Commander Maj. Gen. Andrew D. Costelo and 703rd Infantry Brigade officials, distributed Individual Clothing and Individual Equipment (ICIE) to the CAA members.
