The Philippine Army leadership feted exemplary units and personnel of the 3rd Infantry “Spearhead” Division (3ID) during the unit’s 49th Founding Anniversary Celebration at Camp Gen Macario Peralta Jr. in Jamindan, Capiz on May 31, 2023.
Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. conferred the Streamer Award to the 301st Infantry Brigade, 302nd Infantry Brigade, and 303rd Infantry Brigade for their combat and non-combat accomplishments that contributed to the overall mission accomplishment of 3ID and the Philippine Army. Lt. Gen. Brawner also led the awarding for outstanding officers, enlisted personnel, and civilian human resource of the Spearhead Division.
The Army Chief also led the conferment of the Army Governance Pathway (AGP) Institutionalized Status to the 3rd Infantry Division’s Training School. The AGP follows four stages (Initiated, Compliant, Proficient, and Institutionalized) that aim to drive results, reward performance, and institutionalize the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR) in the organization.
“I congratulate all the awardees for carrying on with the tradition of excellence and dedicated service that has been the source of hope for our fellow Filipinos in this part of the country,” the Army Chief remarked.
