The Philippine Army's Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group (HHSG) marked its 62nd founding anniversary in a ceremony graced by Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Romeo S. Brawner Jr. at the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on July 11, 2023.
The celebration was anchored on the theme "Katapatan at Kagalingan sa Paglilingkod," emphasizing the excellence and efficiency of public service rendered by the unit. Lt. Gen. Brawner complimented the organization's dynamic implementation of mental health programs and the efforts of HHSG to provide services that would uplift the morale and welfare of every Army personnel. "I commend the men and women of team HHSG for your dedication in looking after the morale and welfare of our personnel and their dependents by providing accessible, quality, and responsive mental and physical health care services," the Army chief said.
Likewise, the Army chief also conveyed to the HHSG personnel to continue their passion and dedication, "As one team Army, let us continue to serve to the best of our abilities and inculcate among ourselves the principle of servant leadership as we fulfill our purpose of serving the people and securing the land," he remarked.
The HHSG is the unit that primarily provides administrative, security, ceremonial services, support command activities, and service support functions to Headquarters Philippine Army.
