Army holds PA historians symposium

The Philippine Army, through the Office of the Army Chief Historian, held a Symposium of Philippine Army Historians at Ricarte Hall, Headquarters Philippine Army, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on July 12, 2023.
 
The eight-hour activity aligned with the theme: "Shaping a Future Anchored in History," was geared toward soldiers' appreciation of military history. The symposium tackles themes and trends surrounding military records and the contemporary Army through lectures and discussions. Designated History Officers from Headquarters Philippine Army and Philippine Army Major Units attended the event through video teleconference and onsite.
 
The Army Commanding General Lt. Gen Romeo S. Brawner Jr. commended the Office of the Army Chief Historian for facilitating the event to preserve the Army's Heritage and History to be able to generate institutional pride as well as public awareness and appreciation for the organization's history among soldiers and civilian human resources.
